Inspired by Robert Tuckwell's Jilling House, I have embarked on my own innovative interpretation. The original Jilling House, with its distinctive wing design, particularly resonated with my taste. This unique element became the central concept for my project. Collaborating closely with my client, who is a chef, I delved into various design concepts, ensuring that the space catered to his culinary and filming needs.

After several iterations, I crystallized my vision. I utilized the wings at the ends of the house, incorporating an arch as the entrance and large windows to flood the kitchen, dining, and living areas with natural light. Yet, I still felt there was something missing. To address this, I duplicated the design and joined it with the original structure, effectively creating two houses unified as one.

The first house encompasses the kitchen, dining, and living spaces, with one wing leading to an outdoor dining area connected to the kitchen, while the other wing features a BBQ and bar. The second house is dedicated to the master bedroom and guest bedroom, complete with an outdoor shower adjacent to the pool on one wing and an ensuite for the master bedroom on the other.

The Jilling House finds its home in Tabernas, Spain, thanks to its beautiful climate and the potential for an outdoor garden. The exterior design includes a water fountain, outdoor garden, pergola, and dining space. Further down, an infinity pool with seating areas offers breathtaking views of Tabernas, Spain
